Roddie’s Winnie the Pooh 1st Birthday Shoot

This little guy is our nephew who we love oh so much!! Roddie is named after my dad’s dad. He had the bluest eyes and was always so kind and loving. This year makes 8 years since he went to be with Jesus!

My sister shared their reason behind not only his name but also the theme for his first year of life so far:

“We call my dad’s mom, Honey. That’s always been her grandmother name.. sometime last year, Matthew was talking about all the Winnie the Pooh stuff we had. He said, “i love this because Roddie will always have his hunny” like Pooh always has his hunny. My Roddie will always have his hunny, like my grandfather Roddie always had his Honey. It was just another sweet reminder of my grandfather, and it’s always been a special connection for us! We will always love Winnie the Pooh!”
